SCRK is a 100% volunteer based non-profit charity. This means we rely on the generosity of donors and adopters to care for medical needs such as snap testing (FELV), upper respiratory vaccinations (FVRCP), spay / neuter, first vet checks, and the daily expenses of hard and soft food, litter, baby formula, toys, cleaning supplies, etc.  

We currently pay for the majority of these expenses out of our own pockets. Because we invest a significant amount of money and only recoup a portion of that investment through adoption fees, any donation amount is so helpful. 

We also accept donations of unopened cat and kitten food, kitten formula, new toys, litter, and general cleaning supplies.  Our shelter can always use soft smaller blankets, kitchen towels, baby wipes, and other comfort items for the kitties.
